White Dental Fillings
Cosmetic treatments such as white dental fillings have replaced old silver amalgam fillings as the first choice to restore decayed teeth. They can be shaped to look like a tooth, making them unnoticeable and can usually be completed in one appointment.
Our smiles are part of what makes us… well, us. If you’re not feeling satisfied with your smile, a smile makeover can make all the difference for giving your confidence a boost.

Losing teeth can be a distressing experience; the visible gaps can be embarrassing, and there can be difficulties with eating. Implants are an excellent option when replacing missing teeth. An implant is a fixed, permanent prosthesis which is versatile and can be used in conjunction with crowns, orthodontics and veneers to achieve the perfect smile.
To create the implant we use hi-tech imaging and modelling which allows us to use a tailor-made approach to each individual case.
Single tooth implants
Implants are an excellent option for replacing small gaps caused by single tooth loss. An implant-sized crown is placed to provide a final restoration. We consult with you at every stage so the colour, shape and size are exactly as you need them.
Implant retained bridge
Implant-retained bridges can be a very good solution to the difficulties created by larger gaps. Bridges may have a single implant with a bridge or may require more implants in order to provide a solid foundation. We can work with gaps as small as two missing teeth or an entire mouth.
Implant retained denture
Dentures can be a real pain – literally. Implants offer a simple solution to an all-too-common problem. The implants have small magnets that help newly constructed teeth sit perfectly in the mouth. They can even be offered to patients with no teeth at all.
Am I too old/young to have implants?
You can have dental implants at any age, as long as the conditions are right. A full and comprehensive assessment is necessary before we would proceed.
How long do implants take?
Dental implants need time to be placed, and this can vary between three and nine months. This is an average timescale, and is dependent on your individual needs. We may need to do some preparatory work such as extractions or bone grafts to make sure we have the perfect foundation to proceed.
What is the difference between veneers and crowns?
Veneers cover the front facing surface of the tooth and allow the appearance, colour and shape of a tooth to be modified. A bit like fake nails, although veneers sound better than fake teeth, we think!
A crown typically replaces the entire surface of a tooth, and also it offers cosmetic benefits similar to veneers, it can help strengthen the biting surface and give a helping hand to weak or broken teeth.
The position of our teeth can change throughout our lifetime. If you find that the change isn’t one that you’re happy with, let us set you on a path to the smile you want. Orthodontics is the term used to describe treatments that straighten crooked or rotated teeth.
We can use orthodontics to close gaps and fix the problem of crowded teeth. They can pull teeth forward into the line of the arch or push a prominent tooth back into alignment. The length of treatment depends on the severity of the case, but we can complete a comprehensive assessment to help you decide which is the best option for you.
Invisalign
If you’re looking for the perfect smile, but hate the idea of traditional braces, Invisalign might be the solution you’ve been searching for. This method uses clear aligners, or gum shields, which are custom made by the Invisalign laboratory.
They are completely tailored to the shape of your mouth, and change at set intervals as determined by the treatment plan.
Aligners are removable but are designed to be worn for most of the day and should only be removed for cleaning and eating. Depending on the complexity of your plan, the process can take up to 18 months.
Invisalign Go
As its rather snappy name suggests, Invisalign Go is a shorter term treatment option designed to target the front teeth and help to make our smile sparkle.
The treatment is really quick and lasts less than six months. Invisalign Go also uses aligners in simple cases and produces quick and impressive results.
Clear braces
Clear braces are fixed onto the face of the teeth and wire is used to move the teeth into the desired position. C-Fast and Six Month Smile® are two types of clear braces, and are usually held in place with white wire secured to the teeth using clear bands.
Metal braces
The ones we all remember from school! Traditional, fixed braces have been available for decades and still provide the best options for complex cases that may require treatment for more than 18 months.
Unlike in the bad old days, a variety of coloured bands can be provided. We may also recommend that metal braces be used prior to a large surgical procedure as part of a clinical treatment plan.
We all get anxious from time to time; especially when it comes to having dental work done. Sometimes management of anxieties may require additional support in the form of sedation. This could be medication provided in advance of the treatment to help calm nerves. It could involve the need for sedation at some or all stages of treatment. We are equipped to provide intravenous sedation to help patients manage through their journey with us. A sedation assessment is always required prior to treatment beginning so rest assured, you’ll always be in safe hands.
You hope that it will never happen, but sometimes you need a fast fix… well, fast. While we won’t quite have you crashing through doors feet-first on a trolley, we do pride ourselves on a snappy response time and relish the chance to patch you up after a bad day.

Replacing missing teeth is important for your general and oral health. It helps to avoid serious dental diseases such as gum, decay or gingivitis. Dental bridges and dentures can help to maintain the shape of your face and restore the ability to speak and chew your favourite foods.
Bridges and dentures are a cost effective, quick way to get rid of gaps and provide an aesthetic solution to your concerns. In some cases they can be used in conjunction with more complex plans such as cosmetic cases or while we wait for an implant to finish healing.
